Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia produces widespread pain, disturbed sleep, and overall exhaustion. People with fibromyalgia frequently report pain all over their bodies, most notably in their muscles, ligaments and tendons — along with a feeling of exhaustion. Patients describe this as firm knots in the belly of muscles, often causing restricted movement and radiating pain.

The symptoms of fibromyalgia are unpredictable and most patients are frustrated by their physical limitations. Some also report that their muscles feel like they have been pulled or overworked, and the skin may feel badly sunburned.

How we treat Fibromyalgia at LifeWorks

People with fibromyalgia can be helped. We have successfully treated many by discovering the underlying reason for their pain. Usually it is due to an infection or toxin affecting the energy producing areas of their tissues. These little energy manufacturing plants are called mitochondria. We also commonly find that the thyroid gland is not working up to par and that by nutritionally tuning this up we can get people feeling better very fast.

At Lifeworks we endeavor to discover the real cause of the condition a person has. We are not treating with band-aids to cover up symptoms, but to rehabilitate the body to rightful health. We can’t promise that we do it every time, but you will find no office that works harder to help you regain your energy and pain free life.
