Shannon McBain | ARNP
Shannon McBain is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with an emphasis on women's health. A member of the International Hormone Society, Shannon is spearheading the clinic's cutting-edge menopause protocols.
Originally from San Diego , Shannon graduated with honors in both her degrees; a BSN in Nursing from California State University and a Masters degree in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner.
Shannon is skilled in conventional and alternative natural medicine and she combines both in her treatment of patients in family practice. With her special focus on women's health, Shannon performs the Well Woman exams at LifeWorks guiding female patients from puberty to post-menopause and helping them make informed choices about their individual requirements.
LifeWorks is renowned for its menopause protocols and Shannon uses her extensive knowledge of menopause issues to help women improve their health and to take control of their lives again. Many women experience great benefit from Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy and Shannon will explain this, as well as other natural solutions, to women who need them.

Dr. George Springer | Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine | Doctor of Natural Medicine | Nutritionist | Acupuncturist
Dr. George Springer has practiced alternative medicine, nutrition, acupuncture, and chiropractic manipulation for 23 years. He received his undergraduate BA from the University of Missouri in St. Louis and his Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan University in St. Louis (graduating magna cum laude). Additionally, he received a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (NMD) degree from St. Luke's School of Medicine.
A Diplomat of the International College of Clinical Acupuncture, Dr. Springer has completed extensive postgraduate studies in numerous areas of alternative clinical approaches for restoring and maintaining optimum health.
Dr. Springer is a past associate professor of endocrinology (hormonal system) and gastroenterology (digestive system) and is also a past member of the postgraduate faculty of Logan College, where he delivered continuing educational programs to other practicing physicians.
In addition to his professional credentials, he is also an inventor and holds two U.S. patents on a unique facial toning device called "Rejuvenique," based upon acupuncture principles that tighten and tone the face and skin, improve skin elasticity, and reduce sagging and wrinkles.
He has also written Weight Smart: Revealing the 7 Hidden Barriers to Weight Loss. This book chronicles the reasons people have a difficult time losing weight and provides solutions for success.
Joining the staff of LifeWorks in 2002, Dr. Springer treats all forms of chronic disease, provides functional laboratory evaluation for patients with specific individual nutrition recommendations, treats patients with chronic pain and neuro-musculoskeletal problems, and provides support to other programs.

Tamora German | MA, Service Consultant
Tamora graduated from the Central Florida Institute in February of 2002 with a Certificate as a Medical Assistant. She then started her externship here at LifeWorks Wellness Center.
Tamora now fills the Service Consultant position. She guides new and current patients through all the services Lifeworks Wellness Center offers, and works closely with the physicians and patients to plan a comprehensive therapy that will provide our patients with the best possible course of action.
With an in-depth knowledge of all the different alternative therapies, modalities, and other medicinal protocols, as well as the hundreds of different vitamins and supplements, Tamora provides accurate medical information to patients and helps make their experience at LifeWorks Wellness Center more efficient and enjoyable.

Xochitl Aguilar | MA
Xochitl graduated from the National Autonomous University of Mexico and moved from Mexico City to Florida in 1998 to continue her education at The Ultimate Learning Center.
Working at LifeWorks Wellness Center for over seven years, Xochitl is currently the Assistant to the Medical Director, and also the Lab Technician and Chelation Technician.
Xochitl is also fluent in Spanish and English and helps us translate when needed. She holds certifications both as a Medical Assistant and as a Professional Coder.

Nicole | MA
Nicole grew up in Florida and attended Northeast High in St. Petersburg. Nicole graduated in 2004 with honors.
Nicole attended Sanford Brown Institute for Medical Assisting and graduated in 2006.
Nicole joined Lifeworks Wellness Center after graduating in July 2006 as a Medical Assistant.
Nicole has had experience in pediatrics and alternative medicine.

Susan Bucci | Director of Weight Loss
Susan Bucci has been Director of Weight Loss for LifeWorks Wellness Center since March, 2006 under the direction of Dr George Springer. She has a lifelong interest in preventative and natural approaches to maintaining her own health and assisting others to do the same.
Susan initially started working with Dr Springer in 2005, learning and applying the principles he utilized over the past 15 years to effectively help people achieve a healthy and natural weight loss. Through her training with Dr Springer, Susan is an expert in the procedures used to identify, monitor and correct any of the ‘Eight Metabolic Barriers' that can block weight loss progress. These Metabolic Barriers are the cornerstone of the weight loss program.
In addition, Susan researched and developed the computer program that allows her to create the correct eating plan that is based upon individual patient parameters, rather than a ‘one-size-fits-all' approach to dieting.
Susan attends conferences and seminars related to nutrition, weight loss and health to learn the latest information in order to help her work with patients.
